How CloudEight
was born

After 11 years of working in an agency as a wedding planner, I had refined a technique based on hard work, commitment and dedication, but I felt that something was missing.
What I organized, as special as it might have been, did not always reflect my personality or my way.

My heart was filled with joy when I was lucky enough to follow couples who trusted me completely, fully embracing my advice, while following their style and their needs.

"Francesca, this day wouldn’t have been the same if you hadn’t made it special with your unmistakable touch"

These and many others have been the words that have been addressed to me over the years.

I remember, in particular, when a few days after a wedding, I received a letter from the spouses, they thanked me immensely for how I had managed the most memorable day of their life, but before saying goodbye, at the end of the letter, there was a small footnote,

“We knew you were the perfect wedding planner for us, you have an incredible aesthetic sense, a brilliant and organized mind but we never imagined finding a friend for life, you are magical”.

In those words, I read myself.
So this is how after a few months, a pandemic and becoming a mother, I took courage and gave birth to CloudEight.

It is empathy, awareness and quality.
It is the beauty of nature and genuine local cuisine

my meaning

Why CloudEight?

Because being ‘on cloud nine’ is being happy at the highest possible level, but aware that happiness is an ephemeral and temporary state , whereas on Cloud Eight, one step below, you can have infinite serenity by marrying the person you love.

The number 8 is also the reversed symbol of infinity, a recurring number for me, which connects the eternity of union to a concept of recycling and sustainability, the backbone of my work philosophy.
