Pauline & Nicolas Wedding at Tenuta Monaciano
When france meets tuscany
Everything began with a call when the French couple lived in Bali at the time. We immediately found each other talking about the island, about traveling and then, of course; about their desire to get married in Italy. Soon we decided to start working together to create the wedding they were dreaming of.
In the summer of 2022, they traveled to Italy to do site visits and, after an inspection of the beautiful venue of Tenuta Monaciano, they chose it as “the One" for their May wedding. An exclusive and privileged typical Italian Villa of the 18th century. A villa that boasts a grassy amphitheater, surrounded by ancient trees, marble statues as well as vineyards.
the day of the wedding
The bride and the groom got ready for their special day in the historical rooms of the Villa.
Pauline enjoyed the process with her sister and dear friends that were beside her for the entire joyful morning. A professional makeup-artist and hairstylist pampered and prepared the bride to create the look that she desired for her perfect day.
In the meanwhile, the groom, also with his friends, enjoyed the time playing pool. Such a fun way to start the day killing the time before the ceremony.
The ceremony was celebrated in the fascinating amphitheater. A dreamy and very unique place surrounded by the tall trees that helped to create an intimate and charming atmosphere as well as a perfectly shaded area. The ceremony was very emotional thanks to a close friend of theirs that celebrated the wedding as well as the various touching readings and songs of friends and family.
After the ceremony was time of the welcome cocktail party! The 120 participants were welcomed with Champagne (a wedding in Italy without forgetting their heritage) and typical Italian cold cuts paired with cheeses.
After lots of pictures and laughs, it was time for dinner.
The location of the dinner was the historical courtyard of the Tenuta Monaciano, embellished with romantic light to create a dreamy atmosphere. The sweet newlyweds made their joyful entrance by dancing to the rhythm of music with all the guests that coordinated waving handkerchiefs.
On each table were placed disposable film roll cameras so that guests could capture the most beautiful moments and take funny photos from their point of view.
The couple chose to dine with typical Tuscan flavors: ravioli and risotto were served to the guests, followed by mixed grilled meat cooked live!
Being good connoisseurs the spouses have decided to accompany the dinner and toast with sublime local wines of the highest quality: “Guado al Tasso” 2015 and “Cervaro della Sala” both by the world famous winery Antinori.
To finish the dinner on a high note Pauline & Nicolas opted for a millefeuille, a typical Italian very tasty dessert that was prepared freshly at the moment in front of the guest to give the extra touch.
Everybody had so much fun dancing out the night until early morning, to then finish the weekend of celebration with a pizza lunch the following day.
Such an incredible and stylish wedding.
