Jessica & Fabian Wedding at Villa Medicea di Lilliano

A FUN AND BRIGHT WEDDING DAY IN TUSCANY

The multicultural couple, Jessica and Fabian, respectively originating from Canada and Germany but sharing their love in London, has decided to pronounce their “yes” in the heart of Tuscany at Villa di Lilliano.

Wedding Couple Pictures Idea

The choice of the venue for a couple is very important. Especially for destination weddings. Usually when people think about weddings in Tuscany they think about elegance, an old-fashioned style, good weather, breathtaking views with hills that host vineyards and olive groves; as well as, tasty food and wine. These are for sure all truthful things that Tuscany offers but then every couple has their own style and wants to make their one day very special and make it their own. This is why I take venue research very seriously, I do a lot of research and then carefully select locations that are suitable for each couple.

the venue research for Jess and Fabian was not the easiest, but after a series of unlucky events, this classy and chic couple agreed that Villa di Lilliano was perfect for them. It is one of the properties that once belonged to the Medici and that today has become one of the most famous venues for destination weddings in Tuscany. Surrounded by 18 hectares of vineyards and 42 hectares of olive trees, this location combines the best of Tuscany in one place: nature, history, tradition and elegance.

In addition to the choice of the location, one of the things that sets the mood of the wedding and that makes it unique is obviously the theme chosen with of course, its colors.

The key work for this wedding was fun, bright and colorful.

I always try with my spouses to identify the right sustainable choice among the seasonal things (whether they are flowers, food or any other detail) in order to respect nature and all the beauty that it offers us and to support the locals.

The couple chose to adorn the various spaces with seasonal flowers that had shades of orange, yellow, pink and lilac.

Jessica's bouquet was composed with garden roses, dahlias, scabiosa, orchids, tuberose and amaranthus all tied up with peach Italian silk to give it the right nice touch. It was so beautiful and it perfectly matched her personality.

Regarding the bridesmaids they had mismatched bouquets of one type of flowers each that looked perfect with their cream silk dresses. stunning!

The couple decide to have their ceremony on the terrace of the Villa that has a stunning view on the Tuscan’s hills so for the decoration they opted to add bursts of color to make the place look beautiful, but not distract from the view. Sweeping arrangements were made using structural foliage like twisted yellow willow and magnolia. In groupings will be flowers like roses, dahlias, limelight, orchids, snap dragons, flowering clematis and zinnias. All of them in soft colorful shades like lilac, cream, pale blue, pale pink and peach, with pops of bright yellow, orange and pink to match the color scheme.

Let’s shift our attention next to the dinner area; which, in this case, was located in the magnificent garden of the villa, especially in the central aisle outlined by orange and lemon trees, in perfect Tuscan style, without missing the wonderful view. We opted for an imperial table decorated with simple, yet abundant, with small arrangements. Each vase had a mix of two or three of the chosen flowers: pink zinnias, yellow crespedia, peach achillea, pink garden roses, peach dahlias and creamy mini phalenopsis orchids. Simple, yet stunning.

For candle light it was decided to randomly scatter amongst the flowers and fruit tea light and pillar candles in golden yellow glass or clear glass, and tapered candles in a mix of pink, amber or clear glass holders. Moreover dotted throughout on the tables in groupings were lemons and other citrus cut and whole.

To conclude the table and the decorations we can not fail to mention the stationary that was designed and created for the occasion taking up the themes and colors of the evening. Obviously everything has been thought out in detail and nothing has been left to chance.

The final touch that created a magical atmosphere was given by the string lights placed above the table.

This table was a real jem.

On the table were also positioned polaroids so that guests could immortalize the best moments of this amazing night.

Of course polaroids were not the only photos taken that day. The photographer has a very important role in this special day. Everyone has its own style, that’s why I work with different ones so we can find the right fit for every couple.

For Jessica and Fabian the perfect one was Stefano Santucci, a fashion and editorial photographer that captured the timeless magic of this wedding.

Jessica, you will forever hold a special place in my heart. planning your wedding was fun and I enjoyed every moment of it!
