Aylin & Tolga Wedding at Villa Valentini Bonaparte

A FAIRYTALE WEDDING IN ITALY WITH A TURKISH TOUCH

Combine a stunningly sweet couple from Germany, their Turkish traditions, a big family with many friends in a Villa between Tuscany and Umbria and a lovely sunny and bright day to obtain Tolga and Aylin perfect wedding.

For their big day the couple decide to choose a romantic Villa, Villa Valentini Bonaparte, immersed in the countryside and surrounded by a secular park and a sumptuous garden that manages to transmit unique sensations especially during summer with many blooming flowers.

THE WEDDING DAY

Aylin & Tolga reserved the main villa to start getting ready in the morning. Aylin got for her the first floor where the magic of the bride transformation happened together with all her gorgeous bridesmaids. In the meantime Tolga was also preparing himself on the upper floor with the company of his friends. Getting ready is always such a magical moment full of laughter, inside jokes, happy tears and so much love.

THE CEREMONY

In the afternoon it was then time for the ceremony that they had in a green garden of the Villa with a beautiful view on the hills. For the occasion they opted for a green arch decorated with pink and white roses as well as rose petals down the aisle. The ceremony of this sweet couple was very emotional especially because of the touchy speeches held by some of their friends and family members.

The delightful day continues in the aperitif area: the four season garden of the Villa, where guests had some lovely drinks and canapes enjoying their time. And between a chat and a sip some guests had fun with the photo booth frame and the polaroid to start filling in Aylin and Tolga's guest book with pictures and sweet notes.

When the sun began to set it was time for dinner in the marquee that the couple decided to arrange with rounded tables adorned following the pink and white flowery theme but also adorned with candlesticks to give a wormy feeling. A special touch was given by the blue eye positioned on the menu, a famous amulet against the "Evil eye", typical of Turkey, that the couple decided to leave as a gift for their guests.

When Tolga and Ayilin made their entrance in the marquee they did their first dance and immediately after many people joined them in traditional Turkish dances. Typical dances have indeed accompanied the whole dinner, as between one course and another many people have stood up to have fun dancing and then sit down again to enjoy the delicious food that was served at this wedding. As the beef carpaccio marinated in flower of salt with wild salad, the handmade tortelloni with potatoes, artichoke and seasoned pecorino and the sliced sirloin steak with pachino tomatoes, rocket and shavings of parmesan served with roast potatoes with rosemary. What a delicious Italian dinner.

In addition to having fun dancing, guests had another photo booth available, this time it was an interactive mirror that shot and printed photos. An original and super fun idea to entertain guests who then with these photos, and those of the previous photo booth, have adorned a delicious guest book full of wonderful memories of the evening. Such a nice activity for entertaining guests as well as to have not only written memories but also the picture with the guests point of view of the wedding.

After dinner was time for a traditional gift ceremony where all the guests gathered up in front of the newlyweds to donate money to Tolga and gold to Aylin. A Turkish tradition that the couple wanted to incorporate in their special day to remain faithful to their customs.

Later on everybody moved outside for the dessert corners in the garden and for the huge wedding cake, 5 layers of sponge cake with chocolate cream and pistachio and decorated with whipped cream and flowers. Delicious and dreamy.

The magnificent evening ended with a DJ who got the remaining guest movin’ and dancing until the end of the night.

The whole day felt so special and magical.

More than words ..

Dear Francesca ,

We are still processing this incredible weekend and trying to realize how amazing it all was ! So many people came and said how perfectly organized everything was, that we thought of everything , that it was the best wedding they’d attended…. and really , the praise is yours, because without you none of this would have been possible! You had always all details in mind, leaving nothing to randomness, and on Friday and Saturday the organization was so smooth, really, thanks for everything!  And apart from your “work side”, also characterically you’re such an amazing person! When during the planning things got a bit bumpy, and we got emotional, you always had an open ear for us, you were taking us always seriously and trying to find a solution for everything, your huge empathy really made this such a pleasant journey even though planning a wedding is also tied with some nervousness and stress. For us over the past year, you have become a dear friend and we’re 120% happy we were on this journey with you together!
